The purpose of this position is to work with Marketing Communications, Product Management, Procurement, IT, and vendors to deliver a superior user experience for customers using WAXIE’s Web@Work ecommerce platform.

Essential Duties

eCommerce User Experience (UX) Improve customer experience by driving improvements to the shopping environment. Coordinate WAXIE’s portfolio on B2B and B2C platforms to include new item setup and content enrichment by analyzing reports.
Analytics Lead analysis efforts of how customers interact with WAXIE’s Web@Work eCommerce platform and identify opportunities to increase ecommerce sales.
Optimize Customer Search Results Analyze search engine results to determine most searched items, successful searches, unsuccessful searches, etc. Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
eCommerce Merchandising Responsible for full product item attributes to include product presentation, product information, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), web attributes, links to product literature and videos.
Content Optimization Continuous and ongoing updates of WAXIE’s system as it relates to special WAXIE promotions and cross checking and reviewing item attributes. Also includes categorizing and prioritizing search results to feature preferred brands.
Cross Collaboration You will be working regularly with cross functional teams which can include Product Management, Procurement, vendors, sales and IT.
Benchmarking Keep up to date with leading eCommerce tactics and strategies.


• Experience designing and executing highly visible online customer experiences.
• Be detail-oriented and well organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and prepared to deal with rapidly-changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills.
• Advanced Excel knowledge to format content for bulk uploads.
• Familiarity with photo-editing software for image resizing.
• Good judgment when it comes to editing or omitting content for submission and adhering to company style guides.
• Experience standardizing content.
• Innate ability to problem solve and own processes by using resourcefulness, research, and “people skills” to work through red tape and human “obstacles”.
• Mobile interface design experience.
• Ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
• Able to work with teams spread across multiple locations.
• Understanding of HTML.
• Have a passion for independent, creative problem-solving.
• Resourcefulness ownership.
• Have proven data analysis skills.
• Be obsessed with a top-notch customer experience.
• Experience working with 3rd party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in distribution and/or manufacturing industry.
• Strong project management experience.
• Experience with EasyAsk search engine a plus.
• Product photography a plus.
• Graphic design experience with experience using Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with PIM and DAM a plus.
