Overview

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for the design and production of WAXIE communication materials (primarily online but including, video, print, signage, environmental graphics, etc.). Market the WAXIE brand, products and services through HubSpot’s web-based lead nurturing campaigns that are strategically aligned with WAXIE’s marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties

  • Develop web, video and print solutions of assigned projects, while conforming to elements required within the established brand identity.
  • Assist/consult with vendors and department managers to develop web content, organization, and site architecture.
  • Program web sites and pages as needed.
  • Develop final digital art for in-house and external printing.
  • Shoot and edit promotional video content
  • Product photography to include set design, placement, and lighting.
  • Provide guidance to design and brand standards.
  • SEO monitoring and optimization.
  • Outbound eNewsletter communications.
  • Create and distribute Marketing presentations.
  • Optimizing web architectures for navigability and accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain lead nurturing email campaigns.
  • Maintain, develop and implement keyword strategies to increase ranking and traffic.
  • Building and executing link-building strategies to enhance off-page SEO.

Qualifications

  • Formal graphic and web design training.
  • HubSpot inbound marketing strategies a huge plus.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years web development experience.
  • Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation.
  • Excellent knowledge of common industry applications (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite (Mac), especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere and DreamWeaver)
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript/MySQL.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of decision-makers.
  • Understanding of production, pre-press, print and web-based technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Preferred experience in:
    • B2B social media practices
    • HubSpot CMS
    • Creating and optimizing landing pages through A/B testing
    • Mobile web-page development
    • Inbound marketing strategies
    • Mobile apps are a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and crouch.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel by car or airplane.
