    WAXIE is a family owned business that has been keeping promises to our customers for over 73 years.  We are looking for someone to help facilitate those promises.  This opportunity is responsible for assisting all functions related to Fleet Operations.

    This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 10am -7pm with the opportunity for overtime.  Weekends and holidays off.

    Essential Duties

    • Driver Qualification Files (DQF) – Help coordinate and ensure all DQF’s are up to date in regards to medical certifications, license expiration dates, HAZMAT endorsements, class of license, etc. 
    • Routing software – Update delivery notes, route daily deliveries, track go-agains for next day routing, etc.
    • Hours of Service– Track all driver road times.  Ensure record keeping for days where driving times exceed 11 hours.    
    • Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIRs) – Coordinate the collection and tracking of all DVIRs. 
    • Timecards – Assist with timecards ensuring appropriate premium pay is applied (safety, long haul, rig pay, etc.)
    • Pull Notice – Monitor and distribute to management all pull notice updates.  Ensure new hires are added to the SAMBA program.
    • DriveCam – Monitor and coordinate the administration of Drivecam alerts.  Ensure coaching sessions are entered into the system and managers are aware and receiving video alerts.
    • Penske rental information- Assist with fleet life cycle management
    • Interaction with SmartDrive to coordinate installs, maintenance, etc. 
    • Assist with billing, invoices, go-agains, etc.
    • Utilize AS400/APLUS software on a daily basis
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel experience
    • Experience with routing software or similar scheduling software required
    • Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Previous experience in a warehouse setting with an emphasis on shipping and receiving procedures
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
