    WAXIE is looking for an Entry-Level Account Consultant who is passionate about helping businesses

    keep their facilities cleaner, healthier, greener, and safer.


    The primary responsibility of the Account Consultant is to drive and grow new business for

    WAXIE. In this role you will manage both emerging and established business relationships to ensure

    that the clients' needs and requirements are continuously met. You understand and anticipate how

    decisions are made, and you will persistently explore and uncover the business needs of clients. As

    your book of business grows you will enjoy reoccurring income that can be built upon month after



    This is a client facing position that requires a self-starting individual. WAXIE prepares you for this

    role by offering ongoing training, dedicated support staff, and a solid company name that has been

    in business since 1945.




    Essential Duties

    •  Responsible for increasing sales within existing accounts, developing new business through target accounts, and personal and professional growth and development.
    • Create a business plan for developing new business.
    • Manage business activity and development through company required software programs.
    • Effectively use company-sponsored tools for time and territory management.
    • Respond to reports and other communication requested by management.
    • Participate in company-sponsored promotions and new product introduction.
    • Identify customer needs. Recommend appropriate products, systems, and programs to expand product mix.
    • Identify target accounts in conjunction with management.
    • 10-15 cold calls per day. 
    • 4-5 set appointments per day. 
    • 8-10 new accounts per month. 
    • Monthly and quarterly activity reviews. 
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Ability to drive to customer locations.
    • Ability to interact professionally with vendors, customers and division personnel.
    • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
    • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, selling, and presentation skills.
    • Training abilities to enhance customer knowledge.
    • Ability to learn and utilize Prophet Software program.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
