Day Warehouse Worker

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts

Hourly Rate: $20/hr 

If you’re the type of person who likes to roll up your sleeves and work hard with a great team, our Day Shift Warehouse Worker opportunity might be right for you!  This is a very physical and labor intensive job, requiring you be on the go and on your feet or on a forklift for majority of your shift, and lifting WAXIE's products.  While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature in our warehouses is limited to swamp coolers and working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

Paid Time Off:  10 paid holidays, vacation and sick days are pro-rated for part-time employees.

Led by our Night Warehouse Supervisor, our team ensures inventory is properly received, distributed, and shipped to our customers - the WAXIE way!

• Load and unload common carrier freight and WAXIE delivery trucks.
• Receive and unload vendor deliveries per WAXIE guidelines.
• Put product away in designated areas using RF devices.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product labeling.
• Work as team to build and shrink wrap safe and transportable pallets.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous exposure to warehouse environment a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience utilizing material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand truck and baler) preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of RF system a plus.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $16.93 - $22.94
The compensation range reflects the Company’s current grade for this role and reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
